Arthrograms

Arthrograms are contrast examinations for the evaluation of joints such as the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and wrist. Contrast is a dye that is injected into the joint prior to imaging.  The dye makes the interior joint parts more visible on imaging, aiding diagnosis on the extent of joint damage due to injury or disease.
